Join Beacon Hill Village in Boston for a lively conversation about community and choice in aging with renowned surgeon and author Atul Gawande.  Gawande is the guest speaker at the 15th celebration of the founding of Beacon Hill Village and the subsequent Village Movement their innovative model inspired. His talk was originally scheduled for February 13 but cancelled because of severe weather in Boston. We hope you can join us for this rescheduled date!

The author of “Being Mortal” will give a talk titled, "Being Mortal's Village: The Value of Community and Choice as we Grow Older,"
followed by a discussion moderated by Robin Young, host of NPR’s Here & Now. The discussion on aging, living life with purpose, and how we can transform the possibilities for the later chapters in everyone’s lives, will be simulcast to over 150 villages, including BMAV, at 5pm.  All members are welcome at the home of one of our members at 4:30 for refreshments, in anticipation of viewing the 5:00 lecture on a large TV screen, and will be able to socialize after it ends at 6 p.m

Please RSVP for address and to reserve a seat.
