What is this?
The presidential election is now just months away and few need to be reminded of how consequential it is likely to be in the history of the country. Polls have continued to show a close contest between President Biden and former President Trump. BMAV members, volunteers and guests are invited to join us for socializing at 3 pm, followed by this presentation by Dan Balz, Chief Correspondent at The Washington Post, who will discuss the issues, the electorate and the battlegrounds where the election will be decided.
He joined The Post in 1978 and has been involved in the paper’s coverage of politics throughout his career, both as a reporter and an editor. He came to The Post after nearly six years at National Journal magazine and a brief stop at the Philadelphia Inquirer. He has authored or co-authored several books, including two New York Times bestsellers. He is regular panelist on PBS’s “Washington Week” and has appeared on many other public affairs programs.
Space is limited and RSVP is required.
