About this event
Join the Biking SIG and other BMAV members on a slow and easy paddle in a calm and beautiful section of the Potomac. We’ll kayak for an hour starting at 10:45 am. $22 per boat for 1 hour single or $34 double. You reserve your own kayak but we will help pair people for double kayaks. Details about boat rentals and free parking are available at Fletcher's Cove website. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and hat plus a drink and snack to enjoy after kayaking. Those bikers not kayaking might want to continue biking to Georgetown. We'll help with carpooling.
Details:
Bikers: Meet at the Bethesda Pool parking lot at 9:45am
Kayakers: Meet at Fletcher's Cove at 10:30 am
Kayak: 1 hr starting 10:45 am
Snack: following our kayaking
Reservation: Reserve kayaks at Fletcher's Cove website. Wait until Wednesday June 10th as a decision will be made concerning weather.
RSVP: by June 8th, the earlier, the better.
