Neighbors United is hosting this talk featuring Alan Miller, Founder and CEO of the News Literacy Project, Maggie Farley, veteran journalist and creator of "Factitious," and moderator Caron Martinez, Director of AU Kogod School of Business Communication.

Factitious, the brainchild of Maggie and AU game professor Bob Hone, is an easy-to-play game that helps people sort fake news from real. “We've had fake news forever,” Maggie says, but what we're seeing now is “fake news with a capital F.” Play along with us, and see how Factitious teaches you how to know what to believe.

Neighbors United is a group of  concerned citizens in the 20817 ZIP code who believe in a vision of inclusion, tolerance and understanding.
