If you are a fan of the National Parks…or if you’d prefer to learn more about them on a large screen… please join us to see a large-format film about the National Parks!

National Parks Adventure is a 3D IMAX film about our magnificent national parks. Robert Redford narrates. BMAV member Chris Palmer is president of the MacGillivray Freeman Films Educational Foundation, which coproduced the film. During lunch at noon, he’ll discuss the film and answer questions about his experiences in the production of IMAX films about whales, bears, coral reefs, and more.

The Samuel Johnson IMAX Theater at the Natural History Museum may be closing permanently in the new year, so take this opportunity to see a film there on one of the largest screens in the world!

BMAV members will meet at Chris Palmer's home at 11:15 am and carpool together by Uber, fares split by riders.  $8 film tickets for the 1:10 pm show can be purchased at the box office on arrival.  The group will meet for an early lunch and conversation in the café at noon, with estimated return by 2:30 pm

Please RSVP here or by contacting the office.
